Fiat 500
When a sedan or Sport Utility Vehicle has a high level of security level, perhaps it is already common. But if a city car received the title as the safest car, it's just a novelty.
But it can be proved by Fiat through the Fiat 500 that managed to get the highest score when the safety test conducted by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety or the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS).
Security level Fiat 500 proved even better than other small cars like the Mazda2, Honda Fit and Mini Cooper who also participated in this testing time.
IIHS own style safety test designed to simulate a variety of collision that may occur in the real world both from the front, side, back or even when the car overturned.
And to get a Top Safety Pick, vehicles must have Electronic Stability Control system as standard features, something which is now also required by federal law the United States.
While the Fiat 500 itself is a small car made by Italian manufacturer Fiat which has dimensions of 355x165x149 cm (LxWxH) with a wheelbase of 230 cm.
